He grew up on a farm and from a young age (17) he wanted to create equipment to make the hard work easier. Tom&#8217;s passion to experiment led him to winning an inventors award with a bale collector. He noticed there was a huge demand for his machines and he had a plan: find an English dealer and sell abroad! And, he found one, in Colchester (Essex). They worked together for many years and together they sold thousands of machines in England.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/meijerholland.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Schermopname-1090.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-7347 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/meijerholland.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Schermopname-1090.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"373\" srcset=\"https:\/\/meijerholland.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Schermopname-1090.png 560w, https:\/\/meijerholland.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Schermopname-1090-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Picture<\/strong>: the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/meijerholland.nl\/en\/product\/flintstone\/\">Flintstone<\/a> bale collector<\/strong> was a popular product to collect big bales. To honor its name, Meijer made a rather pointless roof on the collector to make it look like the Fred Flintstone car. No function, but it looked awesome!<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Our products<\/h3>\n<p>Today, Meijer Holland sells a full range of bale grabs and bale collectors. Meijer Holland machines are suitable for hay, straw and silage bales and are categorized into bale grabs and collector for <a href=\"https:\/\/meijerholland.nl\/en\/product-categorie\/small-bales\/\">small bales<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/meijerholland.nl\/en\/product-categorie\/big-bales\/\">big bales<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/meijerholland.nl\/en\/product-categorie\/wrapped-bales\/\">wrapped bales<\/a>. The handling systems can be used on front loaders, telescopic machines, fork lift trucks, wheel loaders and bale presses. Each machine comes in different capacity, for example for 2 or 4 bales, which make machines suitable for every business\u2019 needs.<\/p>\n<h3>A Jansen&amp;Heuning brand<\/h3>\n<p>In 2011 Meijer Holland was taken over by industrial partner <a href=\"http:\/\/jh.nl\/en\">Jansen&amp;Heuning<\/a>. Jansen&amp;Heuning is a medium-sized machine factory, that produces machines for the handling of bulk, such as food, peat processing, recycling, sand and gravel, and for the handling of agricultural products such as potatoes and grain.
