The Fred 2-3 bale grab by Meijer Holland is a hydraulic attachment for picking up and transporting two upright 90 cm bales or three flat 70 cm bales. As part of the Fred series, this model has been developed for frequent use in both agricultural and contracting operations. Depending on the selected mounting, the clamp can be fitted to a wheel loader, front loader, shovel, or forklift.
The core structure consists of a central frame with laterally pivoting arms that clamp the bales symmetrically. As a result, the centre of gravity remains well-balanced. The curved arms reduce the risk of film or net damage, making the clamp suitable for handling wrapped hay, straw, and grass bales. Two hydraulic cylinders distribute the clamping force evenly, which is especially important when working with asymmetrical or inconsistent bale weights.

The Fred 2-3 is intended for use in arable farming, livestock management, and agricultural contracting. It handles two square bales of 90 cm or three of 70 cm, placed either vertically or horizontally. Where different bale dimensions are required, custom configurations are available upon request.
This bale clamp is compatible with a wide range of machines, including tractors, forklifts, and loaders. Thanks to the curved clamp arms, even fragile or wrapped bales can be transported without damage. The firm grip supports stacking and transport of loose or irregular bales. For these reasons, farmers and contractors frequently choose the Fred 2-3 for its balance of strength, accuracy, and reduced damage risk.
