Description Super Fred 3-4 Heavy Duty bale grab
The Superfred 3-4 Heavy Duty bale grab is a reinforced hydraulic attachment for forklifts, specifically designed for stacking and transporting large rectangular bales. This model enables the handling and forward tilting of three stacked bales, improving efficiency during truck loading and warehouse organisation. The unit connects directly to the forklift’s hydraulic system, providing strong clamping force and controlled tilting movement.
Note: Minimum lifting capacity of the forklift must be four tonnes.
Suitable for
Developed for high-volume bale handling, the Superfred 3-4 Heavy Duty processes three stacked bales of 90 cm height in standard configuration. When operated in non-tilted mode, the grab also accommodates four 70 cm high bales. This allows flexible use in agricultural logistics, warehousing, and bale transport for processing facilities.
Customised variants for non-standard bale formats or working conditions are available on request.

This forklift-mounted bale grab features wear-resistant components and a tilt-capable structure. Standard configuration includes:
- Two retractable extension sleeves to support a fourth bale during loading
- Ø50 mm shafts with removable hooks for quick wear-part replacement
- Heavy-duty hydraulic cylinder with reinforced mounting and lubricated pivot bolt
- Reinforced lower frame corners for extended service life
- Tilting system suitable for three 90 cm bales
- 12V electric diverter valve for hydraulic switching between clamping and tilting
- Twelve high-strength steel hooks with deep bale penetration
- Three conical bushings for mounting straight, detachable tines

This bale grab offers strong grip, precise tilting, and stable load control. The hardened hooks penetrate and secure each bale tightly against the main frame.
